Wedding place-cards

My sister got married at the end of July, her and my bro-in-law asked me to make the place-cards. It took me a couple of weeks but I love how they turned out and I think they did too!
My sister had purple and white flowers throughout the wedding, us bridesmaids wore a dark cadbury purple and she had a bouquet of dried lavender. With this in mind I drew 2 styles of lavender with a fine-liner, scanned and printed out about 90 (6 per A4 sheet), cut the place cards to size, bended the place cards and then hand painted each one with acrylic inks, finished with the person's name in black indian ink and done.
Fun project. I wish I'd taken a photo of them all spread out across my floor drying.
Click on the picture to see it close up and more in detail.

P.s- Obviously their second name isn't a blur but I'm keeping it private.
P.p.s- The wedding was AWESOME.

Here are photos of my Final Major Project Degree Exhibition. I had a great time putting all my work together.

My various sketchbooks.

I reupholstered and painted an old stool with my own design printed fabric.

These are mood/colour frames just to give an overall look of my work.

Card

Charlotte is leaving our course today so I made her a card that everyone signed. She loves cats so the drawing had to be one. Drawn with indian ink and a fish and chip fork. Cats like fish.

Drawings

These drawings are about 5 years old but I still really like them. Drawn using biro pen and acrylic. I really like drawing people, I find it pretty easy and relaxing. 10 points if you can guess the famous people.
